On Tuesday 20th June, we welcomed local author and illustrator Georgina Golding to our school.
Our nursery children all gathered around and turned on their listening ears as Georgina very kindly read her book "Wander in the Wild Wood" over two sessions.
Joined by her trusty companion, Storm the Wolf, she embarked on a tale about meetings new friends, embracing each other's differences, and overcoming our fears.
The story teaches children to stay safe and close to their grown ups and to not wonder off, to not be scared of people that are different to ourselves, and to always be kind.
The student's loved the experience, occasionally joining in with mighty howls throughout the reading. Thank you to Georgina for joining us and we look forward to welcoming you back again soon.
Georgina Golding is a local author and illustrator from Medway, delighting the community with stunning drawings and artwork which is displayed throughout her book.
