Students at New Horizons Children’s Academy enjoyed a range of Children in Need activities as part of our Trust’s most recent #WeAreOne event.
Schools across the Thinking Schools Academy Trust each organised their own fundraising events to raise money for Children in Need this November. At New Horizons Children’s Academy, we participated in the Great Pudsey Bake Off: we had some amazing donations of fabulous cakes and scones, which were auctioned off to the highest bidders.
Each of our students enjoyed decorating cakes and biscuits with lovely, colourful designs, and wearing spotty-themed clothing to school to raise money for the event.
We had such a brilliant, fun-filled day, collecting donations for such an important cause. The Thinking Schools Academy Trust managed to raise a total of £8,000 (and counting!) for Children in Need, and we are proud of our students for contributing to this impressive donation.
