Our Values

Respect

At New Horizons, we value respect because success in life is built on strong relationships with others. We encourage children to have the utmost respect for themselves, knowing that they are valued and important individuals.

Aspire

We aspire for children to be their best self. Our ‘thinking’ skills empower us to learn more and know how we can shape our learning to be lifelong learners. We are ambitious for our future and believe that we can reach our goals and transform life chances.

Kindness

Promoting kindness enables children to develop an understanding of how to treat others with empathy, consideration and compassion. It helps children to develop emotional intelligence and build positive relationships with others.

Challenge

We challenge ourselves to be reflective and independent learners. We ensure our curriculum is challenging for all learners and equip children with the ‘thinking’ skills and resilience to challenge themselves further to deepen their knowledge and understanding.

Responsibility

Responsibility is important for children to learn so that they can become independent and successful in life. Encouraging responsibility means that children become responsible for the choices that they make as well as their learning.

Achieve

We aim to achieve the highest standards we can in all that we do so that children can flourish academically, emotionally and socially. We help shape the individual success of every child.
